A warehouse where the system matches the shelf
Design zones and bins in minutes, pick the right batch by expiry, pack against a measured weight and count aisles on a phone — while every move between sellable, quarantine, damaged and expired is a ledger entry.
Made for teams who need this to just work
Warehouse managers and 3PL operators running a godown on bin cards and spreadsheets — who lose time to wrong batches, surprise stock-outs and counts nobody trusts.
- 1Set up zones and bins fast
- 2Put stock away where it fits
- 3Pick the oldest valid batch every time
- 4Pack with weight captured for disputes
- 5Count an aisle and see the variance
What changes with WMS
- Bins that are ‘full’ only when someone looks
- Pickers choosing whichever batch is closest
- Damaged and expired stock still showing as available
- Annual stock-takes that stop the warehouse
- Capacity by units, volume and weight on every bin
- The pick list names the bin and the batch; the wrong scan is refused
- Quarantine, damaged and expired held apart from sellable
- ABC cycle counts scheduled week by week
Everything inside Growcord WMS
Bins with real capacity, FEFO picking by batch, a packing bench, returns dock and cycle counts.
Layouts in minutes
Generate coded locations for a whole rack at once, edit any bin, and extend a rack by running it again.
Real bin capacity
Limits in units, volume and weight — measured from confirmed pack sizes, never from default dimensions.
FEFO picking by batch
The pick list names the bin and the batch; a scan of the wrong batch is refused.
Pick waves
Waves by order or by zone, planned from orders ready to ship — allocating stock, never moving it.
Pack and dispatch bench
Scan items into the box, seal with a measured weight, record short packs and hand over to Ship.
Returns dock
Receive returns, grade them and send each unit back to sellable, quarantine or scrap.
Transfers
Move stock between warehouses with in-transit custody, so it is never counted in two places.
Cycle counts
ABC schedules — A weekly, B monthly, C quarterly — with variances posted only after approval.
Expiry holds
Batches near expiry are moved to hold automatically when you switch the rule on.
Labels on any printer
Bin and product labels as PDF, ZPL for thermal printers, or straight from the browser.
Available means you can actually sell it
Stock sits in one of several states — sellable, quarantine, damaged, expired, in transit. Only sellable stock counts as available, and every move between states is recorded with who, when and why.
- Inbound goods can wait in quarantine until inspected
- Damaged and expired never leak into availability
- Every state change on an append-only register
Today’s work arrives by itself
The floor home on a phone shows what to put away, pick, pack and count today. Four automations — pick waves, cycle counts, expiry holds and reorder drafts — run on schedule when switched on, each with a visible log.
- Mobile-first — any Android phone with a camera
- Every automation off by default
- No automation ever writes stock on its own
Up and running in four steps

What we will never do
The rules this product is built on — so you can trust the numbers it gives you.
Ledger, not overwrites
Every stock change is an entry with a reason — adjustments are where mistakes and fraud hide.
No invented sizes
Capacity uses only pack sizes someone confirmed. Unmeasured products say so.
Automation proposes
Waves allocate, counts wait for a person, reorders are drafts. Nothing moves stock by itself.
Every job leaves a log
Each automated run records what it did so you can check it.

Does Growcord WMS need scanner hardware?
No. It runs in the browser on any Android phone and uses the camera to scan. Dedicated scanners and label printers also work.
What is FEFO picking?
First-expiry-first-out: the pick list tells the picker which bin and which batch to take, always the oldest valid batch, and refuses a scan of a different batch.
How is bin capacity calculated?
Bins can have limits in units, volume and weight. Volume and weight use only product pack sizes that have been confirmed — products without confirmed sizes are flagged instead of guessed.
Do the automations change stock on their own?
No. Pick waves allocate stock, cycle counts wait for a person to post them, expiry holds move stock to a hold state you can see, and reorders create drafts. All are off by default.
Can I track damaged and expired stock separately?
Yes. Stock is held in states — sellable, quarantine, damaged, expired — and only sellable stock counts as available to sell.
Can I move stock between warehouses?
Yes. Transfers keep stock in transit until it is received, so it is never counted as available in two warehouses.
