Statutory rates depend on your state and your registrations. Growcord ships no invented rates: until your organisation enters the configuration your CA confirms, statutory components are clearly marked not computed.

Does Growcord People calculate PF and ESI?
Only from the configuration your organisation enters, confirmed by your CA. Growcord ships no default statutory rates, and any component not configured is clearly marked not computed.
Can payroll be changed after it is finalised?
No. Finalised payroll is locked at the database level. Corrections are made with an adjustment run that records what changed.
How are leave balances kept?
As a ledger of accruals and consumption, so every day of leave can be traced to when it was earned or taken.
Who can see salaries?
Only people you grant payroll access to. HR and payroll permissions are denied to every role by default, including managers.
Does payroll post to accounts?
Yes. Each payroll run posts a salary journal to Growcord Books.
Can I record shifts and holidays?
Yes. Define shifts, assign rosters and set holiday calendars; attendance is computed against them.
